What is Permaculture
If you hang around the organic gardening or regenerative agriculture scene for very long it is almost certain that you will come across the the term permaculture, but what exactly is it? Permaculture is a system of design principles centered around utilizing or simulating patterns and features observed in nature. In many cases this will be for agricultural purposes, but good design is useful everywhere. It is about creating closed loop systems that take as little effort as possible to maintain. Put simply it is working with, rather than against nature.
On this page you will find linked articles covering various techniques and practices used in permaculture. As always if you cannot find something you are looking for then make sure to use the search function. I cannot stress enough that everything you read here will not be suitable for every site.
